Played for Royston for over 20 years, retired for the last 8 years , but still retain reputation for the most fragile hamstrings ever to grace a hockey pitch. Back and looking forward to being captain of the 5th team to promote youth hockey in the club.

Played for Royston for 20 years, so thought it was time that I put something back! Focus for the next 4 years will be the development of our youth in both Men’s and Women’s section. We are also striving towards gaining Club First accreditation, which will be the corner stone of this development plan. I hope that you will join me in driving on the success of Royston Hockey Club, while still having a lot of fun at the club!

Watched my dad and many older members of the royston hockey teams when I was young and have been playing for the Mens 5ths (youth development) for two years

Well they say as you get older you get slower, you also get dirtier, so I dont get selected for mixed anymore but thats nothing to do with my hockey!
Just glad that Dan is playing and he is far better now than I ever was and that's what keeps me going on & on & on & on...blah blah. New Astroturf should help preserve me for ten more years as well, ha ha!

Started playing again in the middle of 2008/9 season after not playing for 17 years. Enjoying coming back to it and hope that we enjoy a more successful 2009/10 season in the 5th's this year and I avoid a broken toe from the mighty Mayoss 16 hit out !!
