Match Report - 03 Oct 2009, Royston Hockey Club Mens 3rd XI drew with Vauxhall 2nd XI
Royston 3's hosted Vauxhall 2's in a game with end to end action and not many goals. The first half saw both teams create several chances with neather side breaking the deadlock. As the second half started Vauxhalls started the brighter side and got the opening goal. Royston created severall good chances down the right through Noble and Brnjollffson, but coudnt penotrate any chances into the circle. As fulltime approached they grew anxious and created severall chances from short corners, Then a way wood push out and fell to Keith Markham backing up drove in and had a shot which rebounded of the post and caused a frantic goal mouth scramble, eventually the ball fell to freeman who slotted it past the keeper to secure a draw.
